New “buzz words” are constantly emerging in the construction industry. A recent trend has been to promote “LEAN manufacturing” practices into the construction industry. Simply put, LEAN strategies attempt to reduce work while preserving the final product value. At Hardy, we quickly acknowledge that there are always new ways to improve our means and methods to increase efficiency and productivity while still delivering quality products to our customers.  70 years of contracting has taught us that adapting with technology and industry changes is a requirement in order to be competitive and relevant. While the actual word may be new to the construction world, LEAN practices have been a staple ingredient to much of our success for many years. We are always seeking new methods to reduce costs, eliminate waste and improve productivity while still delivering the best mechanical systems money can buy.
